Who is responsible
Gaye del Sol Studios (“the practice”, “we”, “I”) is a private hypnotherapy and performance-coaching practice based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For any question about your data, use the contact form.
What we collect
- What you give us, your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us when you enquire, book a consultation, or attend a session.
- Scheduling details, if you book through the online scheduler, the time you choose and the contact details it needs to confirm the appointment.
- Basic technical data, standard server logs and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify you personally.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
We use your information to reply to you, to arrange and provide sessions, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Under the GDPR, our legal bases are your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interest in running the practice, and where applicable a legal obligation. Notes relating to sessions are treated as confidential and kept to the minimum necessary.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the practice, for example email, scheduling and website hosting, and only as far as they need it to do that job, under appropriate agreements.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to receive a copy in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data-protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Cookies, security and working across borders
The site uses only what is essential to function; it does not set advertising cookies. We take reasonable measures to keep your information secure. Because sessions are often held online, your information may be processed in the country where you are located; we handle it under this policy wherever you are.
